Lake District Visit
To further support their learning and understanding in preparation for their GCSEs, 47 Year 11 Geographers visited the Lake District last week.
They stayed at Blencathra Field Centre from Wednesday to Sunday. It was a fantastic trip involving investigating glacial landforms in the Easedale Valley on Thursday, environmental impacts of tourism in Keswick on Friday, and river processes on Glenderaterra Beck on Saturday.
All students were a credit to the school. Well done and thank you to all involved.
